Is the house on a main road, if so can they ensure the safety of any dog?



Does the house seem to provide enough space for a dog?



Are the garden/s securely fenced?



Any obvious risks inside/outside the home?

Does everyone seem happy with the idea of adopting a dog?



What is their general level of dog ownership experience?



Do they understand the expense and responsibility involved?



Have provisions been made in respect of other animals and/or children regarding introducing the new dog?



Do any existing pets look well cared for?




Do they intend to maintain vaccinations, worming treatments, grooming and also take out pet insurance?



What is their lifestyle like (active, passive) and in your opinion, would the dog be given enough exercise?



Are the adopters' working hours compatible for dog ownership?



Have arrangements been made for the settling in period of a new dog and do they understand this can take time?



Do they understand an RGAW dog must only be returned to RGAW if any problems arise?



Would you be happy to leave your own dogs in the care of these applicants?
